    Optimal on behalf of Acromove, a leader company in the industry of transformation in Edge Computing and 5G , is seeking to recruit a New Product Introduction Engineer (NPIE) based in Athens.

    As NPIE at Acromove you will be in charge of prototyping, assembly and ramp up of production of the Edge Data Center product line. The products are highly complex to assemble and test and you will be working to high standards.

    Responsibilities
    • You must have very good understanding of computer hardware and software.
    • You must be very comfortable operating lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, spectrum Analyzers, signal Generators, power supply and waveform generators and other more specialized gear.
    • You must have a very good knowledge of communication protocols like Ethernet, PCIe, Memory interfaces, SPI, I2C etc.
    • You must have excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, recognize faults and come up with fixes. Paramount importance is place on following procedures and documenting results and doing failure analysis and create proper documentation.
    • Familiarity with computer operating systems like Windows and Linux is a must.

    Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the engineering/ manufacturing field.
    • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
    • Solid understanding of electronic principles.
    • Should be able to follow schematics and familiar with lay out tools.
    • Scripting ability is desirable.
    • Proven competence operating Standard Electronics Lab Equipment.
    • Experience with wireless devices brings extra points.
